Mailing a monthly newsletter can be expensive. There is the cost for postage and paper. There is also the time required to prepare a bulk mailing and take the newsletters to the post office. Today many of your members have email access at home and at work. How many of those members would be just as happy to receive their newsletter over the Internet? Perhaps you do email some of your newsletters. That can also be time consuming and in many instances, the newsletters might be blocked by spam filters.
Torbert Data Systems offers a service where you can send us a camera ready copy of your newsletter each month. We will post your newsletter on your very own subdomain of our website, ourchurchnews.com. For instance if your church name is "Family Church of Mytown", your members might enter:
fcm.ourchurchnews.com
to view the newsletter. Even better, if your church has a website, you can easily link your website to your newslettert. Then the newsletter would be an extension to your website without having to do anything.
The cost for someone to set up and maintain your website could easily be hundreds of dollars. Our service is now available to CMTS and OMS customers starting at $5.00 per month with a one time setup fee of $25.00. Churches and organizations that are not customers may also participate for a slightly higher fee.
